Learn to use the TRX Coaching System to apply TRX Foundational Movement (TM) training techniques with the TRX Suspension Trainer (TM) to get any client, at any level, to reach their goals.

 

Suspension Training Course

With the versatility of TRX Suspension Training® you’ll have a portable fitness solution to train clients in any setting. You’ll learn how to properly perform and cue foundational Suspension Training exercises as well as the benefits and target muscles of the exercises. Learn modifications and progressions to adapt the exercises to every fitness level.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Properly perform a variety of Suspension Training exercises
  • Progress and regress exercises for all fitness levels
  • Adjust resistance and stability for all exercises
  • Cue and correct common faults
  • Correctly set up and use the TRX Suspension Trainer

PREREQUISITES: There are no Prerequisites to take this TRX Professional Education Course. Continuing Education Credits (CECs) will only be applied to certified fitness professionals.

Course - Functional Training
Learn how to deliver the ultimate TRX Group Suspension Training experience using proprietary TRX group coaching techniques and workout programs delivered in three formats: Strong, Fit and Flow.

Functional Training Course

Participants will learn to how to leverage TRX’s movement based training approach on the TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer to teach Foundational Movements and progressions and then apply to a variety of training equipment. Beyond Suspension Training and Rip Training, these other modalities may include: Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, DVRT Ultimate Sandbags, Battling Ropes and Bands.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Apply foundational movement methodology on the TRX Suspension Trainer and TRX Rip Trainer to better modify intensity for a variety of modalities
  • Integrate advanced TRX coaching and cueing techniques
  • Lead pre-programmed, multimodality, circuit-based training workouts

Course - Rip Training
Build on the baseline standards you learned in the TRX Suspension Training Course to apply TRX Foundational Movement (TM) training techniques across other modalities such as, kettle bells, heavy ropes, Rip Trainers, sandbags and more. 

Rip Training Course

This eight-hour course teaches Rip Training fundamentals and beyond. Learn to progress and regress Rip Training movements for clients of all levels. Participants also learn how to use the Rip Trainer to deliver a dynamic total-body workout so they can integrate it into client training programs.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Correctly set up and use the Rip Trainer, in various environments
  • Use the Rip Trainer to get a dynamic total body workout
  • Safely and effectively instruct others on the Rip Trainer
  • Clearly articulate the science and benefits behind Rip Training

Course - Group Training
Apply the TRX Coaching System and learn more complex movements with the TRX Rip Trainer to deliver high-intensity, fun and metabolically charged workouts using rotational movement training.

 

Group Training Course

Expand your marketability and master small group training coaching techniques in this hands-on eight-hour course. Building on the foundational Suspension Training knowledge introduced in your course, you will develop coaching skills to effectively lead small group training programs in any setting.

You will learn how to lead and modify three small group Suspension Training workouts that can be used in any boot camp or personal training program, including: a strength-based workout; a high-intensity interval workout; and a mind-body workout combining flexibility, mobility and yoga-inspired movements.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Effectively lead three new TRX small group training workouts
  • Modify workouts using TRX Soft Skills, which will enable you to facilitate groups of any size
  • Properly integrate TRX Hard Skills, to apply your Suspension Training knowledge and cueing techniques into small group training formats
